Greeting and Remebrance Cards

Remembrance Cards

Needs the project will meet: Timpanogos Regional Hospital NICU hand and foot print cards for deceased infants

Note: We invite you to include a personal written message with each handmade remembrance card. This message could express sympathy or any other caring words to the parents who have suffered this loss. The note could be written on or attached to the back of the card.

Materials needed: 
White cardstock
Subtle, soft patterned papers in pink, blue, or yellow
Ribbon and/or other soft, subtle scrapbook supplies



Greeting Cards

Needs the project will meet: Nursing Home Residents - cards for residents to mail to their families and friends

Note: We invite you to include a personal written message with each handmade card. The inside of the card should be left blank for the resident to write his or her own message. Your sentiments could be written on or attached to the back of the card.

Materials needed:
Scrapbook supplies to make card
Envelope for each card
Postage stamp for each envelope*

Pattern: Use your creativity and imagination. Any size card will do, but please make sure the card fits in an included postage-friendly envelope with postage attached, and that the embellishments won't make it un-mailable.

*Post Office Information: (Thank you, Sr. St.Clair, for compiling this information.) Any embellishment put on a card has to be put through the machine by hand and requires more postage. Anything that's added that makes the card raised and uneven in considered an embellishment. 

Size: A card between 3 1/2  x 5 to 4 1/4 x 6 can be used and sent with one stamp.  Weight: 1 ounce letter which is equivalent to 1 envelope and  3 81/2 sheets of paper can be sent with 1 stamp.
